Hi, I’m Rory — Florist, Flower-Schlepper, and Emotionally Hydrated Human
I’m a Northern Michigan native who feels most grounded near the water (even a long soak in a deep tub will do). I share life with my fiancé and our three boys—who keep me laughing, grounded, and occasionally help carry flower buckets in exchange for snacks and boat days.
I love a good gathering—the kind where people feel both celebrated and totally at ease. While I adore meaningful milestones, I believe everyday moments deserve a little magic too. My style lives between casual and refined: effortless, thoughtful, and always intentional.
On event days, my team brings a calm, steady presence. There’s movement, beauty, adrenaline—and just enough chaos to keep it interesting. At the heart of it all, I care deeply about my clients, the moments we create, and the magic flowers can bring. My secret sauce? Heart, hustle, and the belief that blooms should move you—ideally to the point of happy tears.

Words can’t express how much we love Rory from Bittersweet Floral. Before we had hired her, we had told her we were interested in our wedding having nods to Indian culture. So she took time, did some research, and her proposal was exactly what we were looking for. And the finished project was beautiful! The colors and flowers were exactly what we wanted.
